The American rider Brandon McNulty (Rally UHC Cycling) has won the third stage of Il Giro di Sicilia solo, 188km from Caltanissetta to Ragusa, ahead of Odd Christian Eiking (Wanty – Gobert Cycling Team) and Giovanni Visconti (Neri Sottoli Selle Italia KTM), wearing the Maglia Rossa e Gialla (red and yellow jersey) of General Classification leader.

Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner and Maglia Rossa e Gialla, Brandon McNulty, said: “It was incredible, when I attacked I just put my head down and went full gas. I am super happy. I am not really used to racing like this, but it seems I do well on this terrain and in this weather! Tomorrow I’ll need to defend the Jersey.”
