Joel Suter won Stage 3 of Il Giro di Sicilia 2023

Joel Suter (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) has won the third stage of Il Giro di Sicilia Crédit Agricole, the 150km long Enna-Termini Imerese. Filippo Fiorelli (Green Project-Bardiani Csf-Faizanè) and Elia Viviani (Nazionale Italiana) finished second and third, respectively.Finn Fisher-Black (UAE Team Emirates) retains the Maglia Giallo Rossa.

Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner Joel Suter said: “It’s super nice to win. It was my goal actually but it didn’t look good in the middle of the race. However it became a favourable scenario towards the end. I decided to go alone because it wasn’t fast enough. It’s my first pro win on the road and it’s a very important for my team”.
